  • i believe people are affected by ideas, which can be reinforced, swayed and persuaded through fiction. reality, and by extension, the biases and preconceptions borne on the mind, can be seen reflected in the fiction we create, consume, and engage with. interrogating these reflections is important in pursuit of understanding the rigid boxes of our socialization, so that we may begin to dismantle them.

  • i do not identify myself as either a pro-shipper or an anti-shipper, as neither concept serves any purpose beyond shipping discourse, which i don’t place much value on; i will personally follow the principles of blocking and moving on.

  • exploration and fascination with the morbid is natural and essential to the human experience. i believe such depictions should be done while maintaining a modicum of respect and sensibility. art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable, but above that, it is empty without empathy.
